![PROJECT 365 . DAY 182forgive the quality of the photo… it’s what you sometimes get with a cell phone i guess.
it must have been four or five weeks ago now that lily came home from day care with such joy over this, here little green balloon. it was a little larger then than it is now; about the size of a baseball — now it’s about the size of a lime. she absolutely was in love with this balloon, but like all toys in a 3-year-olds toy box being favorite doesn’t last forever and this little green balloon soon became just another toy.
i came across it cleaning today and given its rather sad disposition and the fact that it’s not been touched in a couple of weeks. i took it upon myself to do the only humane thing i could think to do… snap a picture for the memory bank and trash it.
lily, i hope that one day you’ll forgive your ol’ dad.
