as i looked out this morning this vibrant zucchini flower caught my attention right away. while i don’t care much for zucchini, the flower is nice!

the hunt has been on for some time to find the perfect gnome for the garden. upon coming home tonight i discover the hunt has ended. i don’t know if he has a name, but he strikes me as a hodges.

a fun, sun pinwheel bought for lily and use in her garden, has seemingly found a home in the herb pots… for now anyway.

today marks year three of our family garden. today also marks the first year of family gardening where we didn’t need to rent a tiller as we opted to put our rental money toward buying our own. this is likely the cleanest these tines will ever be (which after all is the point… right?).
