It's no secret...
…I enjoy coffee and could easily be classified as a “coffee drinker.” All this month (Oct) our local coffee shop has celebrated Pastor Appreciation Month, by offering the pastors in town free house coffee, every day / all day throughout the month. Well, it’s a no-brainer that when the opportunity exists for free coffee for a month you take it. I’ve done well to allow myself to fully be appreciated, missing only 5 or 6 days this whole month.
Yesterday, was one of the days I missed; I just wasn’t able to swing by and take advantage. It took a couple of hours to notice, but I was walking around the greater part of the day with such a headache. It took me even longer to realize this was from the lack of caffeine in my system. Not until late afternoon did I have my first drop of caffeine; which did well to lessen the effects of the headache.
This got me to thinking, what’s doing to happen come November? My guess, there are going to be a hand-full of angry, out of sorts pastors preaching not on gluttony, rather preaching on fire and brimstone.
In the mean time however, I’ll enjoy my final couple of days of free coffee and worry about an exit strategy next month.
